SDMC (Shared Decision Making Comittee)

Each Houston ISD campus, including Neff ELC, has a Shared Decision-Making Committee (SDMC) to support the principal in implementing planning processes and engaging in site-based decision-making, as outlined by HISD Board policy and administrative procedures.

HISD’s model also includes a framework of defined autonomy for high-performing campuses, while upholding high expectations for all schools.

The SDMC is composed of parents, business partners, community members, teachers, and other professional staff, working collaboratively to make decisions that promote student achievement and campus success.

The Neff ELC SDMC meets quarterly on the following dates for the 2025–2026 school year:

  • October 9, 2025

  • December 11, 2025

  • February 12, 2026

  • May 14, 2026

Please note: Additional meetings may be called as needed to address campus or district business.
